Excellent plant for hot, sunny locations. Flowers close up in shade or on cloudy days and at night. Show-stopping large flowers (2-1/2" inch flower) are displayed on strong stems, making this an ideal landscape plant. Heavy blooming (up to 10-15 flowers at one time).  Loves the heat and adapts to water stress (needs less water than most plants).  Excellent choice for edgings, rock gardens or containers.
