Salvia/Sage - Fuego Red

This is a hardy, semi-shrubby, bushy perennial.  Leaves are ovate to elliptic, serrulate, medium green to 1-1/2" long.  'Fuego' has brilliant, fire-red flowers in tall, terminal spikes, with showy bracts of similar color.  Outstanding for mass plantings, borders, or containers. Thrives in full sun.  Heat and drought tolerant.  S. x jamensis is a hybrid of S. greggii and S. microphylla.
